How
to get connected with the Family of Grace
People
who visit Grace typically like what they see and hear and
many times come back for more. But there comes a point where
just attending services isn’t enough for you. You want to
get more connected. We all need to be connected with other
believers. Hebrews 10:25 teaches us that if we don’t connect
in meaningful ways our relationship with the Lord will cool
off and we might quit coming to church all together. Here
are five ways to get connected.
• Join some of the church
leadership in the Living Room (adjacent to Children’s
Check-in)
following the morning service for some refreshments and
snacks. We would love the
opportunity to meet you.
• Sign up for Discovery 101
• Try out a Life Group or
Affinity Group (Life Groups
/ The Avenue /
Women /
PrimeTimers)
Getting plugged in with a smaller group of people at Grace
is vital to a person’s spiritual
growth and sense of belonging. Sitting in Sunday services
without developing deeper
relationships and accountability will lead a person to feel
unconnected and eventually
dissatisfied.
• Join a Volunteer Team (link
to serve and be served)
Volunteering to serve is like green tea—the benefits just
keep coming in. By getting involved
in serving, you will have the opportunity to form
friendships with others whom you are serving
with. But most of all you will be like Jesus who came to
serve others. [Mark 10:45]
• Attend an upcoming event
